PokeFolio is a free portfolio tracker built for Pokémon TCG collectors and investors. Add cards by scanning them with your phone camera or searching the PokeTop10 catalog of over 18,000 cards, then watch your total collection value update automatically using live Near Mint market prices from JustTCG, eBay, and TCGPlayer. Every card you add is matched against the same institutional-grade pricing pipeline that powers the rest of the PokeTop10 dashboard, so the number you see reflects what buyers are actually paying today, not stale retail suggestions.

Unlike a spreadsheet, PokeFolio tracks cost basis, gain/loss, allocation by set and rarity, 24-hour and 30-day movers inside your own collection, and a historical portfolio value chart so you can see how your holdings compare against the broader market. A separate watchlist lets you track cards you want without adding them to your portfolio. Everything syncs across devices via a secure magic-link sign-in — no password, no social login, no ad tracking.

How PokeFolio works

  1. Sign in with your email. You enter an email, we send a 6-digit code, you paste it back. No password to remember. Your email is stored as a one-way SHA-256 hash — even we cannot read it.
  2. Add your cards. Point your phone camera at a card for AI-assisted scan, or type a name in the search box to find it in the catalog. Enter the quantity and optionally your cost basis.
  3. Watch prices update. Our Cloudflare Workers cron runs twice daily (04:00 + 16:00 UTC) pulling fresh NM prices. Your portfolio value re-computes automatically the next time you open the page.
  4. Analyze and decide. Use the allocation donut to spot concentration risk, the gainers/losers list to identify what to sell or hold, and the value chart to confirm your collection is actually appreciating.

Frequently asked questions

Is PokeFolio really free? Yes. The core tracker is free forever with a 30-scan/month limit on the AI camera scanner. Pro ($3.99/mo) unlocks unlimited scans, unlimited price alerts, and a Pro badge. Investor ($6.99/mo) adds attribution, concentration risk analysis, and a historical backtester.

Do scans really cost money? Only the AI camera scan endpoint consumes your monthly quota. Searching the catalog, adding cards manually, and looking up promos are all free and do not count against your scan limit.

Can I import my collection from TCGPlayer or ManaBox? Yes. PokeFolio supports both CSV and JSON import. TCGPlayer's CSV format is directly recognized; other formats may require a minor column mapping.

What pricing source do you use? Near Mint prices come from JustTCG (primary) with eBay sold listings as a cross-check. Prices use a trimmed-mean methodology that filters out scam listings and damaged card sales.

Is my collection private? Yes by default. Collection data is never shared, sold, or indexed. You can optionally generate a shareable public link for a portfolio if you want to show it off.
